In the vein of 90s 16-bit RPGs Vamps for the Memories combines turn-based fighting with an outrageous jokes-to-screen ratio.

The fantasy of world of Inosculana is under a new threat: a young vampire is terrorizing a town and gathering their fiendish cult. Play as a hunter, a mage with something to prove, who will stop at nothing to stake the beast and be held as a hero.

In Vamps, besides your regular attacks and magical spells, you will collect topics to banter about. These mini-scenes will heal and bolster your party! They only work once, so be sure to explore the world and talk with its inhabitants to find more things to talk about!

Vamps is a lot of comedy and a lot of text. While there is combat and puzzles it's not the primarily point of the game. So there is a Novel Mode (Easy battles) and Puzzle Hints option built in.
