MONOWAVE is a deeply thematic puzzle-action adventure that immerses players in an evocative, non-verbal narrative exploring the full spectrum of human emotion. Players guide Mono, a nascent guardian spirit, on a critical quest to understand and reintegrate four personified core emotions—Happiness, Sorrow, Anger, and Anxiety—whose imbalance has thrown their world into discord. The gameplay is built upon two philosophical pillars: "Every emotion is valuable" and "Warm empathy can change the world."

Mono's journey unfolds through distinct, metaphorical worlds, each a vivid representation of an emotional state: Anxiety's foggy jungles, Anger's volatile volcanic caves, Sorrow's deep oceanic trenches, and Happiness's gravity-bending sky islands. Mono's abilities fluidly transform with its emotional state—Happiness grants high jumps, Anger enables forceful wall-jumping—requiring players to strategically embrace the full emotional toolkit. A key "Empathy" system allows Mono to share emotions with other inhabitants through song, influencing their behavior and fostering connection.

Every element in MONOWAVE is an allegorical extension of emotional concepts, making the game our student team's profound tribute to the human experience. Designed for all ages, MONOWAVE delivers a universally resonant story, offering a space for introspection and heartfelt connection.
