Hi, I'm Mat, and my tiny team and I are making Feudums, an upcoming medieval grand strategy game which combines kingdom management and persistent dynasty building in online multiplayer with zero pay-to-win elements. Feudums became the most popular upcoming 4X / Grand Strategy title on TactiCon 2023!

Protect and grow your holdings and noble house amidst other players. Navigate through an unforgiving feudal society, forge alliances and bind loyal vassals, outsmart adversaries and lead bold military campaigns. Witness how the expanding shadow of your dynasty envelops the world as your house's renown carries over to new game sessions!

The game is currently in development and will be released on PC - with possible Mac and tablet releases later on.

Heavily influenced by old-school strategy games like Lords of the Realm, Defender of the Crown or Genesia, early CRPG MUSHes, Crusader Kings and classic board games, Feudums is part builder, part strategy, completely moddable and is fully built around its players, with carefully crafted, hand-drawn visual style, contextual music tracks and original melodies to set the mood.

CURRENT STAGE

Unlike traditional demos, ours is a continuously updated, interactive developer diary, provided for full transparency and early dialogue with our players. We invite you to play the early versions, join our discord, and help us refine the game as we progress.

So far, I have added literally over a hundred features, changes and improvements based on player feedback, many of which I developed in direct consultation with them. Roadmap (or development milestone) priorities have also been voted on - and will continue to be set - by the community for years. Feudums is a community game and I firmly believe in transparency and dialogue.

The playable build of the game includes:
⬣ completely moddable, customizable and adjustable game systems;
⬣ fully working online multiplayer;
⬣ moddable victory conditions;
⬣ the Coat of Arms designer - with in-depth medieval heraldry;
⬣ seasons, weather, day & night cycles
⬣ the economic simulation - with labor system, seasonal agriculture, player-driven market, expansion, and so on;
⬣ the core of warfare - seasonal military campaigns, levy troops and mercenaries, detailed simulation for battles with multiple participants, raiding, stances tactics and unit traits;
⬣ semi-autonomous actors for serfs, military companies and land administration; idler-friendly features for those having only limited free time; in-game guide.
⬣ the basics of diplomacy - agreements, declarations, player to player trade agreements, diplomatic grievances.

A FAIR TO PLAY ONLINE MULTIPLAYER!

Competitive multiplayer gameplay will strictly remain fair to play: players have equal access to features in multiplayer, and they cannot ever buy any gameplay bonus or advantage. What we will sell - at some point, but it's definitely not here yet - is only cosmetic flavor (like coat of arms devices, character designs or architectural styles for your buildings) and additional game modes - like private multiplayer or single player campaigns/scenarios.
