UNYIELDER is an intense Boss-Rush Movement-Shooter with a flexible and exploitable Roguelite-Looter sandbox. Carve your way through the war-torn lands of Antarctica, Hunt down war machines and Assemble your arsenal of destruction.

UNYIELDER unites elements of Looter Shooters, Movement FPS and Character Action games in an infinitely expandable Roguelite sandbox to create spectacular and absurd Boss battles.
Featuring a wide variety of unique bosses, strange randomized weapons and ridiculous power-ups, UNYIELDER provides players with a massive range of deep, rewarding build options with infinite, exponential scalability. Empowered and looking for a challenge, every fight the player faces will feel like a battle between an immovable object and an unstoppable force.

Set in the science-fantasy, post-post-apocalyptic lands of Antarctica, the player takes control of "The Pretender" a sapient machine built from the technology of an old totalitarian technocracy.
They begin their journey with a single directive: To hunt down and reclaim parts of a shattered machine-god, scattered throughout the rusted lands.
As the player progresses through the game, they begin finding and collecting strange plants and items, revealing memories of a forgotten past, before the apocalypse. The Pretender's true identity is called into question, leaving them with a difficult choice: ensure the survival of humanity by subjecting them to the safety of tyranny, or leave them to fend for themselves, reunited with free will.

UNYIELDER is currently being worked on full-time by the team at Trueworld Studios on Unreal Engine 5 and is in the early stages of QA playtesting and content generation.
Focusing on "Finding the fun", many members of our team, some without prior programming knowledge, were able to rapidly prototype ideas with blueprints. This greatly accelerated the rate of development as the team was able to make quick decisions with a hands-on, tactile demonstration instead of having to rely on purely conceptual proposals.
Once the true "Soul" of the game had been found, the team moved on to laying the foundations of the game, prioritizing scalability for future content integrations with imperative engine features like World-Partitioning, Lumens and Niagara.
Creative use of these flexible systems allows the team to focus on making an exceptional experience without having to worry about the efficacy of the foundations on which new inclusions are being built.

UNYIELDER is at a stage where its core features and experiences have been built and the team has shifted their attention to polishing these experiences as well as creating feature-complete content for the game.

A key focus for the development of UNYIELDER has been the inclusion of community-centric design loops and features which encourage interactions among players through collaborative puzzle-solving, competitive record-setting, special events, etc.
Trueworld Studios believes in inspiring future generations of developers through transparent communication and collaboration with the community, sharing moments of triumphs and hardships.
The team's goal is to build a diverse community of Artists, Developers and Creatives, both locally and internationally, by nurturing a collectively driven support structure safe for individuals who seek to pursue their passions.

An exciting debut for Trueworld Studios, UNYIELDER represents the collective ambition and long-term vision the team has not just for the game, but the studio and its intertwined community as a whole.
