Vacuum Pilot is a 2D speedrunning game with simple but hard to master controls based on mouse movement. The focus of the game is to improve and beat your own records to earn medals and to climb the leaderboards.

Players can earn XP to unlock new space ship parts which they can use to customize the visuals of their space ship.
The game also includes a Level Editor, in which the player can create their own Levels and upload them to the steam workshop.
