Made for younger players, Snowpainters is an arcade racing game where you play as speedy color-changing penguins. Play alone or with friends, change between colors, race on colorful paint trails, and bring color to a snowy environment! Choose between three distinct penguins to race against your friends and other competitive penguins! Pick between the light, speedy Rockhopper, the heavy, controlled Emperor, or the well-balanced Adélie penguin. Also choose between a plethora of hats to give extra personality to your penguin.

Cohort 30 TGP2

As part of SMU Guildhall's curriculum, the entire cohort comes together in our TGP2 course to work on one big team to make an arcade racing game. This is no small feat and the learning outcomes are to work through the inevitable communication and coordination challenges developers face when working together on a large team. Since the learning outcomes are soft-skills based, the game they make typically is never published. Cohort 30 achieved the extraordinary goal--in a global pandemic no less--of surpassing our quality thresholds required for publication and launched the game this May on Steam.
