The card format allows for a very deep and realistic simulation of a survival situation, where every detail counts. Surviving is not limited to checking your hunger and thirst, many more things come into play for you to succeed like your comfort and stress, your body weight and appetite, diseases and immunity, the different plants and animals living on the island and their population, and even your loneliness and mental structure.
