Who can participate?
Best Visual Effects Award is open for solo developers and teams of all sizes.
GDWC will Nominate games for the Award from all participants.
What games can be submitted?
Games still in-development and games fully released in past 12 months (since August 1st 2022).
Games on all digital platforms are accepted.
More than one game can be submitted.
What are the prizes?
Top 3 teams get a free copy of JangaFX Personal/Indie licenses!
Who decides the Winner?
Winner is decided by a Jury appointed by JangaFX.
When is the competition?
Submissions close Sunday, December 31st, 2023 at 23:59:59 EET / UTC+2.

EmberGen is a real-time volumetric fluid simulation tool that can instantly simulate, render, and export flipbooks, image sequences, and VDB volumes. With EmberGen, you can create anything: from fire and smoke to explosions and magic wisps. EmberGen gives you the creative freedom to iterate on your simulations in milliseconds instead of hours.
EmberGen offers a 14 day free trial that comes with over 60 simulation examples as well as a few game ready presets. As an example of a few presets that are included, you can generate looping fire for particles, explosions for spells, and muzzle flashes for weaponry.
