GDWC 2024 Summer Season is now open for submissions!
GDWC is once again open to all developers and games on all digital platforms to join and compete for the best game title across multiple categories! Submissions are open until end of May and Winners will be announced in late Summer / early Autumn 2024. Games still in development and games released after May 31st 2023 are eligible to participate. Participating is free as always.

Winter Season Participation
GDWC 2023 Winter Season is closed for submissions and was again record-breaking season. This was our second half-year long season in GDWC history and we had over 1900 submissions beating previous season's, 2023 Summer, 1800+ submissions.

Judging in process
Judging is currently in process and due to this the submissions and game updates have been frozen. They will open up again soon once next season opens. Due to amount of game submissions we won't be able to provide direct feedback or situation updates to all participants. We will directly reach out to Finalists in early February.

GDWC 2023 Winter Season Closing Soon!

The Winter Season will be closed to submissions on Sunday, December 31st 2023 at 23:59:59 EET / UTC+2. So there's less than two weeks left to submit your game, and now's the final chance to compete for the biggest prize pool in the GDWC history.

The countdown for Mobidictum Network Tallinn 2023 is in full swing. Industry professionals will come together for Mobidictum's network event on October 26 at Kultuurikatel.

Mobidictum Network Tallinn, the third networking event organized by Mobidictum this year, will take place on October 26th at Tallinn - Kultuurikatel and will host more than 100 attendees from the Mobile and PC industries.

While supported by local games industry hub GameDev Estonia, the event aims to bring together industry leaders, game studios, publishers, service providers, and developers to discuss the latest game industry developments and meet each other to grow their business networks.

Game Development World Championship opens 2023 Winter Season with $660,000 Prize Pool

The Game Development World Championship (GDWC) has opened the 2023 Winter Season for submissions. Games can be submitted until the end of the year. Winners will be announced in February 2024.

Winter Season breaks records with the biggest prize pool in GDWC history, totalling over $660,000 in value. Prizes are spread across 12 award categories and range from swag & software licences to cash prizes, publishing deals and marketing & User Acquisition funding.
