Here's a small update on the game jam we have going on itch.io!

We just got our first game submission, which we are eagerly looking forward to play! Also screenshots for a couple more have dropped in during the last days and it's really exciting to see how you all have interpreted the theme of the Jam!

Two days left until the game submission deadline is up, so be careful to have everything done by then!

Our first game jam has been going strong for four days now! Looks like everyone has been keeping busy during the weekend.

You aren't able to join the jam anymore, but we reached our goal of 20 participants, so at least from our side we are very pleased.

Many of you out there have been wondering when we will hold the 2020 competition's awards ceremony. Finally, we can go official with this piece of information!

The winners will be announced during a live stream on our Twitch channel (Thank you for subscribing!) on the 30th of April! The top 3 games in every category will be introduced and played by us here on the GDWC, talks with devs behind their games and we'll have known faces from the industry handing out the prizes.

The voting for the Fan Favourite games of 2020 has ended and we have the Top3 games for you all.

It was a close race this time around, but finally we have counted the votes and the results are as follows:

A lot of you have been asking us about the results of the 2020 awards. As you probably already have read from the topic of this blog, judging is in progress.

Okay, so you are still probably wondering when are we going to hear about the results? Well, when the judges are ready. It means that we want to give our judges all the time they want without disturbing them.

Choosing the best games from our big list of games is not so easy as it sounds. Our 2020 awards were the largest GDWC awards ever. That's why we want to stay calm and do things right.
